BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – Police are looking for a driver who they say left the scene of a crash that snarled traffic on Interstate 89 this morning.
Just before 8:00 a.m. Vermont State Police responded to a three-car wreck on I-89 South between the Burlington and Winooski exits.
Troopers say they were told a truck took off after the crash. They say it was a black Ford F-150 truck with Vermont plates and had minor rear-end damage.
The driver was described as a middle-aged bald man with glasses. The drivers of the two other vehicles were sent to the hospital.
