MALONE, N.Y. (WCAX) – An inmate was hospitalized after being found unresponsive at the Upstate Correctional Facility in Northern New York.
It happened at the same facility where 20 staff members were hospitalized after, it’s believed, they were exposed to some type of synthetic drug that caused them to become sick earlier this week.

Overnight, WCAX was told staff at the facility found an inmate unresponsive and had similar reactions as those hospitalized staff members. They were given Narcan and taken to the hospital.
