BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – A Morrisville man has been sentenced to 18 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to weapons charges.
Federal authorities say Jordan Phelps last March called the Morristown Police four times and threatened to go to the home of an officer he accused of taking part in what he believed was illegal surveillance.
Police later raided Phelps’ home and found firearms he was not allowed to possess because of previous drug charges.
Phelps was sentenced in Burlington last Thursday. He will also face three years of supervised release.
