C.HAMPLAIN, N.Y. (WCAX) – Two northern New York women have been charged in connection with alleged animal abuse.
New York State Police say they investigated a complaint earlier this month in the town of Champlain against Sandra Barber, 34, for not taking care of the cats in her home.
Barber now faces two animal cruelty charges.
Police say another woman, Tracey Duprey, 53, interfered with the investigation by taking the cats and not cooperating with troopers.
