BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) – One of Burlington’s only remaining Walgreens is set to shutter permanently.
The store and pharmacy on Farrel Street will close on March 19th, according to a pamphlet handed out to customers.
Locations in Shelburne and South Burlington are still open.
It comes amid the company’s efforts to steady operations closing more than 1,000 stores nationwide over the next three years.
Stores in Montpelier, Hardwick, and Morrisville are among those already closed.
