BARRE, Vt. (WCAX) – Vermont Congresswoman Becca Balint visit Barre Thursday afternoon to support addiction recovery in the state.
Balint is scheduled to present a $400,000 check to Turning Point of Central Vermont to support the organization’s substance use disorder recovery services.
Some of that cash will also fund revitalization efforts for a historic building in Barre’s downtown.
The presentation takes place at 12:30 p.m.
